The Female-Friendliness Of New Zealand’s Tennis Clubs

Across an array of contexts, a ‘female-friendly environment’ is increasingly thought to positively impact participation levels for women and girls. The aim of this study is to provide insights on the female-friendliness of New Zealand’s tennis clubs. Both numeric and text data were collected as part of the 2021 National Sport Club Survey.

Integrity In Community Sport

In consultation with the Integrity Transition Programme (which supports the Integrity Sport and Recreation Commission’s Establishment Board), sport integrity questions were embedded within the 2023 NSCS to better understand integrity issues in community sport and assist in the development of sport integrity codes.

"Stronger Communities Through Sport"

This is the Association’s significant new report which presents fascinating insights from the first seven years of New Zealand’s “National Sport Club Survey” (NSCS). The report documents the landscape of community sport in New Zealand from 2018 to 2024, highlighting key challenges and opportunities for sport clubs which are the backbone of sport delivery nationally. As you’ll be aware, over the past seven years, the NSCS has explored New Zealand’s sport club membership trends, governance practices, volunteer engagement, and financial pressures, alongside impacts from external factors like COVID-19, and much more.
