NSCS research papers are now frequently presented at international sport conferences.

Following is a selection of recent events where NSCS research papers have been presented

The 2023 SMAANZ Conference, Canberra, November 2023

Last week, members of National Sport Club Survey team (Cindy Wiersma and Linden Moore) presented to the 2023 SMAANZ (Sport Management Association of Australia and New Zealand) Conference hosted by the University of Canberra in Australia on the topic of “sport clubs engagement with schools”; a theme of the 2023 survey.

As described in an extract from the conference "book of abstracts" (which you can download here), “the inclusion of the school engagement component in this year’s survey examines how the interconnected nature of interorganisational relationships (IORs) affect the success or failure of sport organisations.”

The European Sport Management Conference, Belfast, September 2023

The National Sport Club Survey project team was represented at the "European Sport Management Conference" in Belfast, Northern Ireland at the University of Ulster. Dr Mel Johnston and Linden Moore of the survey project team formed part of a conference workshop focused on “strengthening the management and performance of community sport through national sport club surveys”.
